This fun event on Friday February 6th will keep them out of regular classes for the entire day, but will wrap up by the end of the school day at 2:30pm. Students will need to be dropped off at PENRYN at 7:30, and picked up at 2:30 at H. CLARKE POWERS. If your singer is NEW to our group – welcome! If they feel like they know the music well enough to perform it, they are welcome to join us!
-
This is a CYT production, and families can meet up to see a classic musical theatre show with all youth performers! Show dates are February 6-14th . Click here for show times and ticken information : HSM

On Saturday March 7th we will meet at Loomis Basin Park South (on King Road under covered picnic area) at 8:45am to warm up and perform the National Anthem at about 9:15am. Students should dress WARM and carpool if possible (parking will be full - drop off is fine!). Families are welcome to stay and catch a game or head home after we sing.
-
Our middle school singers have been invited to lead the pledge of allegiance and perform the National Anthem at our district board meeting! Students will have the chance to nominate a student conductor for this event - we will meet at 5:20 pm at the H. Clarke Powers library and students will be finished after we open the board meeting at 6pm.
-
This is our all-day festival performance on Saturday May 9th - we will sing in the morning, and then we spend the afternoon at Six Flags in Vallejo! The trip is optional, and has a donation to cover festival entrance, park entrance, one meal in the park, and transportation.
-
We will sing all of our spring repertoire in our Year-End Concert. Students will meet at H. Clarke Powers School to rehearse at 4:30pm, and the concert will begin at 6:00pm. This show will include a special performance for “8th Grade Send-off” as they head to High School! -
This optional performance on June 2nd is a wonderful chance to sing in a BIG venue! We will join forces with band students, and meet down in West Sac at the ball park before the game to warm up, perform behind the pitching mound, and then enjoy the game together. Students/families are responsible for their own transportation and ticket costs.
