The Loomis Basin Education Foundation is busy planning their annual events. Through the support of our district families and community these events raise funds for the seven schools of the Loomis Union School District. Check out the upcoming events here!

On February 16th the Soroptimist International of Loomis Basin awarded 15 LUSD teachers and staff members with grants to fund long-term programs in multiple study areas. We are thankful for the ongoing annual support from the Soroptimist International Loomis Basin.

Karen Montgomery was presented the Placer County Middle School Teacher of the Year award by Placer County Superintendent of Schools Gayle Garbolino-Mojica. Mrs. Montgomery teaches the Middle Years Program Individuals and Societies to 7th & 8th grade students at H. Clarke Powers Elementary. We are very fortunate to have Mrs. Montgomery as part of our LUSD team!
